yes, Brian....

since we don't have a way of making a sticky thread, here's the method we'll try:


User 1 posts a record(s) in the Dropbox
User 1 posts a comment in this thread with just the album name and "expiration date" (maybe 48 hours?)
User 2 is responsible for copying the album out of the folder to somewhere more permanent (note: COPY not MOVE) if they want it
User 1 removes the album from the temporary Dropbox location at the expiration time
Next user (first come first serve) posts and follows the same process

Maybe to get started, Mike should "tag" someone to go next after he deletes his stuff....I'm sure it will start to catch a rhythm

i uploaded some more stuff last night, but i just checked and it seems some things have been deleted, or is dropbox just screwing up? there are only three albums/folders in there now and there were like six or seven.

I see a total of 9 files in the Jr. Grover Washington folder (5 mp3 files)

13 files in the Bonobo folder

16 tracks in the Insight / Blast Radius folder


I'm just using the web inteface (logged into dropbox.com) since I don't have the client installed on any of my machines.

Is it possible to stream dropbox files directly from dropbox through a uri? So can you use it for hosting audio files that you stream from your site? A bit like soundcloud.
