i don't know, i guess the hip hop fans have traditionally gone straight to US sources for their music, he might have been more influential in the 90s.

his shows - i think - have never been regularly broadcast in finland, as opposed to some other uk figures like gilles peterson and bob jones.

I just heard this pretty rocking tune by "Michael X" on Robbo Ranx's 1xtra dancehall show that I don't know the name of. All's I know as that he's some relatively new artist from Amsterdam and it was from the album "Genesis"

But I can't find anything on Google, YouTube or Amazon about it. :(

Anyhow, if you listen to Robbo's show that's up now in the most Dancehall archives, it's at 2 hours 24 minutes in.
